The short answer
Lindt’s US help centre states that its production sites are not halal-certified and its packaging therefore does not carry halal labels. That is a clear statement about certification; it is not proof that every Lindt product contains a prohibited ingredient.
The manufacturer’s statement on certification
Lindt’s halal FAQ was updated on 9 April 2026. It separately identifies certain EXCELLENCE dark bars as made without animal products and alcohol. This ingredient statement does not turn those bars into certified products or cover other Lindt ranges.

Is Lindt the same as Lindor?
Lindt is a brand covering different ranges. A question about an EXCELLENCE bar is not answered by a claim about a filled LINDOR chocolate, or vice versa. Keep the product name and country attached to each piece of evidence.
What should I check on the pack?
Record the product, filling, country of sale and lot details. Check any declared alcohol or flavouring information against the exact product, then ask the manufacturer if the information you need is not provided. Do not treat cocoa percentage, vegetarian suitability or a brand-wide internet verdict as a substitute for product evidence.
What does “not halal-certified” mean here?
It reports the manufacturer’s certification position in the reviewed source. Whether an uncertified product meets your requirements is a separate question for the evidence and religious authority you follow. This guide does not assign a worldwide halal or haram ruling.
