Is Nandos halal in the UK? Evidence and Scope
Scoped source availableSource and scope
UK locations listed on Nando's halal page serve certified-halal chicken and do not handle pork. Nando's explicitly says its restaurants are not halal; chicken sourcing is not certification of the entire restaurant. Check the location and factory certificate in store.
Reviewed 2026-09-23. This statement applies only to the scope above. It is not a worldwide certificate.
Check the location and the meal
Confirm the country, branch, exact menu item, meat supplier and preparation arrangements. A brand or venue name alone does not establish certification.
Evidence limits
Missing certification is not itself proof of a haram ingredient. Likewise, a vegetarian label or an old brand-level answer does not verify every formulation. This page does not substitute a current certificate or a qualified religious opinion.
